
Institutional Governance
Shanduko Yeupenyu Child Care is headed by a 7 board members 2 of them are men. The Board comprises of people with different expertise and are well known in their local communities, and have extensive knowledge of the issues faced by the local people. The Board members, in consultation with the beneficiaries and other key stakeholders determine the policies and overall direction of the organisation and its programmes.

Felicity N Mangwende
Board Chairperson
Felicity Nyaradzo Mangwende is a host of qualification in the field of social development, including BSC Honours Psychology and current undertaking Post Graduate Diploma in Social work and various development and other educational certificates. She is a development practitioner with more than 10 years’ experience in HIV and AIDS, education / training, advocacy, leadership and team building, Basic health Care, Sexual Reproductive Heath Rights, Sexual Gender Based Violence, counselling, and psychosocial support services.
Over the years she has built the capacity of partners, led and coordinated different grassroots child protection committee and projects, working for both National and International Non-Governmental Organizations. Felicity has acquired extensive project management skills encompassing- capacity building and strengthening, documentation, leading project teams, budget and finance management, policy development and resources mobilisation and report writing. Felicity Nyaradzo Mangwende is Board Chairperson for Shanduko Yeupenyu Child Care for the second term 2021-2023.

Precious Chiramba
Board Secretary
Precious Chiramba (nee Chamburuka) is a holder of a Master of Science Degree in Disability Studies and Special Needs Education and various development and other educational certificates. She has worked for more than 27 years’ experience in education and development work. Over the years she has built the capacity of partners, led and coordinated in various schools in Matabeleland and Mashonaland regions, where she gained experience working with children and youths with diverse needs, and developed a passion for the disadvantaged and children living with disabilities.
She was inspired and went on to take up studies in Special Needs Education. Currently she works as a District Lifelong Learning Coordinator (DLLC) in Epworth-Mabvuku-Tafara District under the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education. With her vast educational experience in various settings, her wish is to impact on the lives of children and people in Zimbabwe and the world at large and was appointed to the Board of Shanduko Yeupenyu Child Care as the Secretary for 2021-2023.

Cosmos Rongoti
Director
Cosmas is a host of qualification in the field of social development, including Master’s Degree in Development Studies; certificate in working with Children and youth, Certificate in Education, Certificate in Systemic Counselling, Diploma in Project Management and various development and other educational certificates. He is a development worker with more than 10 years’ experience in HIV and AIDS, education / training, advocacy, leadership and team building, Basic health Care, Sexual Reproductive Heath Rights, Sexual Gender Based Violence, counselling, Participatory Score card training and psychosocial support services.

Nomore Mhute
Admin
Nomore Mhute is a holder of Bachelor of Commerce Honours Degree in Finance. She has adequate industrial exposure and experience in finance. Nomore Mhute is a dynamic, highly motivated and open minded individual, with an ability of working in a multicultural environment to help communities. Her passion is to help the less privileged children.
She is an ambitious and hardworking person who is goal-oriented. She encourage fighting for what you desire and believe in, and doing it through God because nothing great comes easy and with God everything is possible. She also possesses report writing skills and computer literacy skills. Nomore Mhute values integrity, professionalism and honesty. She likes travelling.

Secretariat & Management Team
Shanduko Yeupenyu Child Care 7 professional staff under the charge of the Director who oversees its day to day functions. The director is supported by Project Officer, and Projects assistant, Finance and Admin Officer, Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, Fundraising officer and counsellor.
