Shanduko Yeupenyu Child Care committed to promoting access to social basic needs and empowering the disadvantaged children especially girls and in Zimbabwe.
Our Values
Shanduko Yeupenyu Child Care exists to provide sustainable support and women to girls in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals 4 and 5. Shanduko Yeupenyu Child Care is a registered organisation based in Epworth, which was founded in 2010and registered as Private Voluntary Organisation (PVO20/15).
The formation of Shanduko Yeupenyu Child Care was a demonstration of concern and determination to assist and empower the disadvantaged children in the community and restore their dignity..
Our Mandate
Epworth in general, remain one of the least developed areas in the country, highly vulnerable and chronically food insecure due to external shocks such as drought and socio-economic challenges, particularly among the poorest and most vulnerable households. Among the underplaying causes of poverty and increased orphan hood and vulnerability of children in Epworth are lack of pro- poor policies and/ or ineffective implementation of existing policy and supporting/strengthening the existing systems.
Therefore, Shanduko Yeupenyu Child Care’s work is relevant and has potential of accomplishing our mission in light of the current OVC situation in Zimbabwe.
